About the Piercing Shop

The Piercing Shop was opened in Brisbane in June 1994 as the culmination of several years of personal training by the proprietor, Lynette Rose. Lynette is fully self taught and made extra money piercing ears in America in the 1960's. Moving back to Australia, (Lynette was born in Brisbane), she became re-involved with piercing in the mid 1980's and progressively expanded her knowledge. Having had this interest in piercing for many years and now possessing a small yet successful clinic at her home Lynette decided to make the leap from part time to full time and take piercing into the centre of the city at the end of 1993. Many people claim to have trained under Lynette Rose. However, the truth is that very few of these people have even worked at The Piercing Shop.
